The perfect place to hang out with friends, having dinner with great burger and fries sweet potato is the best one! Ginger drink is also good options for cold night in Zittau. The staff is friendly and quick service.

Booking necessary..limitd seating. Visa card payment not accepted.only opdn from 5 pm. No cash dispensing machine nearby. Zittau is a ghost town in winter

Absolutely delicious burgers… if you don’t mind waiting an hour for it. We’ve been 3 or 4 times and have enjoyed each visit, but it’s always a long wait. This time, after an hour of sitting and becoming increasingly hungry (hangry) I asked the waiter if they’d forgotten our order, he said 5 more minutes and gave us a drink on the house for the long wait. I wanted to give 3 stars because of the consistantly long waiting times, but the burgers are really good and the waiter was friendly so 4 stars it is. So, I recommend this restaurant, but be prepared to wait. To the restaurant owners: I don’t know what goes on in the kitchen, but if you could figure out a way to prepare the burgers a bit quicker, it would take the experience from “ok/good” to “excellent”. It’s not nice to have already finished your drink by the time your burger arrives!

As a burger fan, I had to try Mr. Bales in Zittau. The taste is great and the price-performance ratio is absolutely okay, so there's nothing to complain about. Since there was no crowd, the waiting time was very short. I ordered the Black Angus Burger, the BBQ and the Farmers Cheese. All three are absolutely great to a very pleasing degree and are a feast for the palate and pure enjoyment. Starting with the Farmers Cheese, my taste buds really blossomed and it was a real pleasure to eat this burger with pleasure. He was so hot that I licked the packaging...🤭😄 Next up was the Black Angus Burger, here too I enjoyed it really well, the Patty Hammer and the burger tasted extremely tasty. Last but not least, I treated myself to the BBQ burger and here was another little reminder of the farmers cheese through the sauce and also the perfect end to my little meal. 😋🤤🤤 Of the shops tested that make burgers exclusively by hand and with regional ingredients, Mr. Bales ranks in the top 3 for me. My personal conclusion is that the store's presentation and ambience are cool, young and chic. The burger selection is manageable and there are various other delicacies. I'll be stopping by Mr. Bales more often in the near future and just treat myself to these delicacies again because they are really top notch in their variety of flavors. Bravo, applause and rightly 5 stars as well as a super + bonus star from me for this excellent quality. Thank you very much Mr. Bales and his team, see you soon. I'm already looking forward to my next visit with you. Thanks.
